- Research and development center
The activities of the Agricultural Research and Development Center include R&D on agricultural production technologies, quality testing on products sold through the ALMAS SABZ AFGHAN SEED organization, and human resource development. It develops cultivation technologies, and production materials to meet the needs of both producers and consumers, as well as developing pipe and Organic and Chemical products that make use of agricultural produce.
We poses a large amount of agricultural and industrial warehousing system with an over capacity of 10 tons of seeds and a large warehouse for storing of pipes and its fittings.
Uses of warehouse:
- The storage of goods, therefore, from the time of production to the time of consumption, ensures a continuous flow of goods in the market.
- Some of the goods e.g., woolen garments, have a seasonal demand. To cope with this demand, production on a continuous basis and storage become necessary;
- It helps in the stabilization of prices by adjusting demand and supply;
- Storage is necessary for some period for performance of other marketing functions.
